WHERE CAN I GET MOAR. It's special and unlike anything I've heard before.

Revo's mastery over using everything to its fullest capability in creating his world. Voices, instruments, sound effects, narration...everything blends so well with each other. Nothing is valued over another, and all serve their role in expanding the story horizon.

Everything. Even those that are technically Revo only.

9.Your favorite SH CD is?
Toss up between Elysion and Moira.

11.Please describe how you felt about SH's music.
It leaves a lot of room for imagination. All of its songs gives you a prompt and lets you roam free. Especially Moira, listening to it is like flipping through a fantasy book where you can fill in some of the blanks yourself.

12.Please describe how you felt about Aramary's singing and voice acting.
She might not be the best singer or seiyuu out there, but she just clicks with Revo's style. Heck, the entire Elysion is tailored to her voice. I love the strange 'transparent' quality in her voice, it certainly helps with the atmosphere. And her voice is simply so flexible. She can act out anything from shotas to lolis to old women to mystery girl to...well, old man is pretty much the only thing she can't act out. That's jimang territory.

13.Aside from Aramary, which singer do you wish to see SH collaborate with?(you can choose from current members)
RIKKI COME BACK. Although I'm interested on how Revo might manipulate Rurutia's voice in his weaving of the horizon.

14.The song that makes you the most energetic?
Historia. The Elef + Leon + Misia + Harmonia chorus is simply beautiful.

Even though it's pretty darn sad when you put it into context.

15.Saddest?
11 worded message and In the Hand of the Dying Maiden is the Watery Moon -Parthenos-. Parthenos live actually had me shedding tears. Blaming it on Elef's scream. 11 worded message isn't actually sad per se, it's bittersweet. Even if it's a song of farewell from Hiver's mother, she wishes him happiness and ends with a promise that they will eventually meet each other again.

16.Most supressed?
Eternal Boy and Thanatos's Illusions are Neverending...
Seriously both of them just scream DEPRESSING. Really, would anyone feel happy after being subjected to 'Hey, is living fun?' and 'Even if I were to die...nobody would care' over and over again for 3 minutes?

17.Healing effect?
Chronicle of Beginning. It has the 'fresh start' feeling. Although I'm strangely calmed by The Lost Song, despite the lyrics being gibberish. Water Bottom of Memories is quite good for meditation with all the watery sound effects.

18.Brainwashing effect?
All of the Pico songs, actually. They're just too cute and moe. But El's Paradise [side:E] with all the 'Hey Daddy...'s qualifies as a brainwashing song.

Yet at the same time she is the very opportunity for change - the world may be doomed to apocalypse within the confines of the Black Chronicle, yet all it takes is one page, separated from the 24 volumes of Black Chronicle, to start an entirely new history under an entirely new sky.

Layla and Shaytan. Even eternity could be considered the Promised Land when we're at each other's sides.

'Can ROMAN be found there...?' is repeated so many times that I can't help but say it on a daily basis. Really.

Aside from that, one line from Doreitachi no Eiyuu struck me. 'People are all but sad slaves of Fate, for such a slave to own another slave, what kind of dry irony is this?'

Sound Horizon is....Sound Horizon. Really, nothing else could be used to describe them. There's a reason why their wiki page has over9000 entries in the music genre part.

Not really. Abyss's image has been imprinted in my mind ever since seeing the CD cover.

Every new album is a new horizon. And...a horizon stretches to eternity. And you have no idea what awaits you on a new one.

Just...24 books with black covers leading the world to doom? But they probably exist somewhere outside the physical plane as well...an omniscient observer to all the fates being played out.

32.If you can choose, which world of SH's would you like to live in?
Moira. Elysion is a bit too freaky and dark for me to enjoy living there.(don't think I'll survive 5 minutes, actually, with head-chopping, stabbing, shooting, push-you-off-the-stairs and pyromaniacs? No thanks.) Roman is a bit...hmm, a bit too normal. If you take out Hiver and his loli dolls, there really isn't much of a fantasy feel in Roman. But Moira is defined enough to capture its essential worldview. And while the issues of slavery and war are coming closer to reality, it still has a sense of mystery to it. I suppose it IS a myth after all...

Of course, Moira = world of Elefseya. Not the hole digging world.

33..If you can choose, what kind of job would you have?(Magician, poet, dancer etc.）
I'd actually like to be one of the Harmonia. Singing about the fates of men, observing without the responsibility of action.

34.In the 1st Pleasure CD, which song are you most likely to hum during times of hardship?
Tadoritsuku Uta. Fitting, considering that the song is the only thing supporting Luna through her seemingly fruitless searches for her lover.

35.What do you think of SH's progress from doujin to being picked up by King Records?
I'm amazed by how far they've made it. There seems to be this thing called 'doujin nostalgia', but I feel that for Sound Horizon to continue expanding its kingdom and horizons, this is a step that needs to be taken.

36.To analyze the stories in SH, do you think research is needed? Please explain.
Yes. Revo puts many different references in his songs, and while putting them together may not lead to the absolute truth, they are certainly guideposts to it...if there is an absolute truth at all.;) To quote Baccano! - There are as many stories as the people involved. Everyone has their own version of the various romans in Revo's world.

37.Then have you ever tried to organize a timeline or hints scattered throughout the album?
I've never tried, actually. I've been mostly reading other's views. But when I do try to create my own version of roman, I constantly try to outdo every extraordinary scenario with one that's even less plausible. Like Hiver is a French NEET or something. Wait nvm that has been overdone.

38.Do you wish for SH to do a CD for an anime or some other form of art?
I'd certainly be interested in seeing Revo's interpretation of other works, but I don't have any specific ones that I'd like to see.

39.Have you ever thought about turning SH stories into a manga/anime/game/novel?
I'd love a SH anime if they do it RIGHT.:D With all the Elef obsession I'm going through, I'd like a Moira anime with a mayo-sucking Thanatos. Actually scratch that last part. Roman already has a manga(although if you're trying to make an anime then by all means GO AHEAD. Really, any of SH's stories animated would be great.), so after that...an Elysion anime with all its gory details would be nice.

Or heck, not an anime, but fully animated PVs for their songs. I'd like that. Yeah.

Hard to give a value to it, actually. It's in a bit of everything.

YES I'D PIMP SH LIKE WOAH IF I HAD THE CHANCE. Sadly I've only introduced it to 4 people as of now...2 of them seem interested. One of the other two I have no idea, and the other is too busy taking a vacation in hell or sth.

44.Aside from getting the CDs, what do most want to do?(concerning SH)
Go to live concerts. I really, really wanted to go to Revo's birthday concert on 6/25, but parents won't allow me to go to Japan.D:

45.What is your biggest complaint concerning SH?
It needs more recognition.

46.If you're unsatisfied with something, what would it be?
Aramary leaving SH. But Revo's musical skills have improved leaps and bounds since his doujin era, and the new singers, while lacking in flexibility, all have great vocal talents. I don't love 2nd SH any less than 1st SH. (I think I actually prefer 2nd SH a bit more than 1st now)

47.If other singers/composers join SH, would you mind? If not, what kind would you prefer?
Singers, come all you want. But I'd like the composer to stay as Revo. He IS Sound Horizon essentially. The King of SHK. I don't mind if does random collabs now and then like the one he did with Kajiura Yuki, but the long-standing composer should be Revo and Revo only.

I didn't listen to one particular CD, I've been just downloading random songs. Since Ark was easy to find, it was the first one, but when I wanted to download Sho no Maju (oh, those Code Geass MADs XD) I found it only ziped in Ch2 CD, so Chronicle 2nd was my first album, too.

6.When you first heard SH songs, what were your impressions?
"I like this style of music.. oh, wait, almost every song sounds different... I like it even more!"

7.Which aspect of SH music do you think captured your heart?
The variety of their songs, I guess. Listening to SH just can't be boring - just compare Pico Magic to Moira or Roman.

When I finally found Ark live performance I was really disappointed, because, well, Aramary isn't a good live singer... But when I accepted this and focused on CD versions only, I've come to like her. It's kinda amazing how early!SH had only Aramary (with her ability to do almost every role) and current!SH needs so many members to fill her place.

I'd like to see RIKKI again. And I'd like to see Aramary again, but it's impossible, I guess

Honoo. RIKKI's singing is just the best if you want to hear some emotions.

I think that they are a little exaggerated. Esp Yield's (I love the song, but..). It kinda gives the feeling, that Revo wanted to make his heroines fall in love with every kind of forbidden partner. Not only brother or person of the same gender, but father as well... It almost makes StarDust the only sane one out there.
But I love each song. Really.

Of course, because if you want to find the translated lyrics, you must do a lot of research -_- (they are so hard to get... If you don't know flandre.us at first, of course)

Aha, those Code Geass MADs indeed.XD I keep thinking that Code Geass must've been a turning point in my life. It introduced me to niconico, to SH, and upped by Japanese skill by over 9000 by having me translate all the season one drama CDs and watching episodes in RAW since I can't wait for the sub.

Do you know any other place to get translations aside from flandre? I'm trying to translate all of SH's missing songs during the summer(and maybe a bit of the manga as well) so I don't want to do a song that's already been done.

I'm from HK, by the way. Which sells Moira DVD for 690 and Elysion/Roman/Moira CD for around 280 each.

Whatever the word is, I was interested in their music, but I didn't look for their other songs until my friend says that the leader is Revo, the one who collaborated with Yuki Kajiura in Dream Port 2008. (is a Kajiura fan) XD Then I searched for more and is in SH's grasp ever since.

The stories, I think. And the fact that the more I think about the stories, the more I get. And Revo's music skills, he's a genius!

I wouldn't want other composer to join SH, since that would be a huge change in SH from only Revo's horizon, but another collab with Yuki Kajiura will be great! :D:D (please collab again? please?) I think I understand you, it was the turning point in my life too (these dramas were pain in the ass indeed -- I remember how I desperately wanted to understand what they are talking about and then I found out that almost each of them is translated on CG livejournal community--). 12. I kinda like her narrating more than her singing. She actually is capable of a nice deeper voice while narrating, and I would have liked to see her use a deeper tone while singing. She kinda goes too high pitched for my liking sometimes. There is also this very monotone way of singing she uses for certain songs, like Raijin no Keifu or Koibito wo Uchiotoshita Hi, which I'm not fond of. She has more emotion in like the Elysion tracks. Either way, her live performance ended up kinda abysmal after the first quarter, so I can't say I like her that much. She has her good qualities I guess. Kinda hit and miss I suppose.
13. I always wondered what Maaya Sakamoto would be like if she worked with Sound Horizon.

35. Its quite amazing if you look at it. This guy started out self publishing his work. Suddenly Aramary and Jimang jumped on his ship, they must have saw something in Revo! Then it just expanded from there, they got their own record label and now Sound Horizon is massive and getting more massive. Suddenly Revo became a king and had his own kingdom. Its almost like a fairy tale!
36. Depends. Seisen no Iberia and Moira are relatively straightforward stories. The older albums tend to be rather cryptic, and leaves a lot up to interpretation. Its like, there is no real way of understanding them. I guess its up to the listener whether they need research or not. Also some songs subtly hint at each other and there is a web of crossover-ing, although that itself may be open to interpretation! So perhaps research and discussion is needed for the full effect of the whole Sound Horizon network.
37. Not really. I just read what people say, think up of my own stuff but never seriously wrote down anything, even if I do wonder about things.
38. I think Sound Horizon is best left to do their own thing. It wouldn't be quite the same if they had to follow some other base material that is as defined as an anime. Sound Horizon itself is a form of art, it does not need to adapt anything else.

A little after Roman came out, I saw an image of the Elysion cover and liked the artwork, thought it looked interesting. I didn't know it was a CD cover at the time, so when I looked it up and found out about Sound Horizon, I downloaded all their CDs.

Hiver. I feel like he is the easiest to relate to. We are listening to these stories but cannot actively participate in them, can't actually live in the world created by these songs. So that distance and only being able to listen makes us similar...lol maybe I am thinking to much, I don't know where I'm going with this. Also, I just like his character design, that coat looks so snuggly and warm.

El. When I found out what Eru no Rakuen was about it broke my heart. ;_; I wanted her to be happy and live together with her papa in paradise forever. I also like her simple character design, she can easily look sweet and adorable or completely creepy.

I also just want to say that I love Mu/Phi and Violette/Hortense, they are so adorable.

It's not necessary if you just want to listen and enjoy, and make up your own interpretation, but if you really want to analyze the stories in depth, then yes, research is needed. A lot of the songs have connections to each other and everyone has their own interpretation.

37.Then have you ever tried to organize a timeline or hints scattered throughout the album?
Not really, but I've though about it.

38.Do you wish for SH to do a CD for an anime or some other form of art?
Not really, but I like fiikun's wish for an artbook. I love yokoyan's art and the character designs/album covers.

39.Have you ever thought about turning SH stories into a manga/anime/game/novel?
I'd love to see an SH anime, but of course I'd want it to be high-quality with wonderful animation and a nice art style. Maybe a short OVA or something. I'd be too afraid of it not living up to my expectations though.

Animated PVs would be nice too. I love that Stardust MAD and would like to see the rest of the ABYSS songs animated like that. Oh, and maybe it would be cool if there was an animated film of Moira- like a classic animated disney musical- since it's practially a musical anyway. I'd love to be able to sit down and watch an animated Moira over and over. And, I want merchandise, like figurines and stuff. And Hortense and Violette dolls.

Revo had to cut 10 minutes of stuff from Moira(reason for delay from August to September) to fit the whole thing into one disc. The long Ike narration at the end of Elefseus was probably the result of that.

I read that he said that in an interview somewhere. Never traced it to the original source(and if I ever did, it'll be the next thing I'm spamming this image board with). They were already pushing the limits of CD storage with ROMAN, and Moira busted it by some 10 minutes(and still cutting it close with like 1 minute to spare even after the 10 minutes were deleted). Hey, maybe Revo will eventually do 2-CD releases....just maybe...

But yeah, us not getting to listen to them is a total Zannen datta ne moment. Can't Revo release them like a bonus track or sth? It's recorded and mastered anyways, why not let us fans listen instead of leaving it in a corner somewhere.

And thirding the artbook suggestion. I love yokoyan's art so badly. And there are quite a few yokoyan SH art that weren't on anything official nor the artist's site...I recall seeing one with lots of SH girls in school uniforms, one that mish-mashes the guy characters from Chrono~Seisen, and one depicting Amethystos, Orpheus and Sirius in front of Ilion...although that one was sort of official since it was on amazon's SH artist page.

I agree that it has to do with the Spanish colonization, though perhaps not necessarily the Aztecs, since they did have many other colonies. It seems like the biggest possibility, though, and I can't wait to hear what Revo's done with the music to style it after a new culture.

The General mentioned is General Hernando Cortes, a Spanish conquistador known for leading the expedition that brought about the fall of the Aztecs and claiming the land in the name of the Spanish empire. Looks like this maxi-single will be covering the expansion of the Spanish rule.

With all the references to Seisen no Iberia, I'm really hoping that Shaytan and Layla will show up again, perhaps to bring about peace once more.

Seriously, though, I'm hoping that they'll show up. I mean, granted, Shaytan's an Islamic demon, but Layla was the daughter of both a Moro and an Ibero, and the center of their story wasn't really about the differences in religion, but hatred of war.

It's probably highly unlikely - I'm thinking Revo will probably introduce new characters instead - but it's wishful thinking. In any case, I hope they get at least one clear reference to their story. "Seisen no Iberia" really leaves you hanging as to what happened to them after the holy war (though, as the new songs seem to imply, the holy war isn't exactly over yet).

I love Shaytaan and Layla too, but I don't really want them appearing again. I like the fact that what happened to them after the war was left up to your imagination.

Only days after Seisen no Iberia's release, I found a video (Cover art + music) on Youtube of Kuro no Yogensho. When the first thing to greet my ears was Jimang's maniacal laughter and BLACK CHR-ON-I-CLE! followed by an epic rock symphony, my curiosity was immediately piqued. The next thing I did was click on a related video that happened to be the live performance of Fuebuki Otoko to Parade. The rest...was history.

5.The first SH CD you listened to was?
Complete CD? Well, following the incident above, I immediately downloaded all of SH's doujin albums and listened to them in chronological order. So I supposed the first full CD I listened to was Chronicle.

6.When you first heard SH songs, what were your impressions?
What is this-- ? I don't even--

But seriously, I couldn't figure out if it was some kind of elaborate musical play or what. I had to know more!

7.Which aspect of SH music do you think captured your heart?
It's hard to explain. The fact that each and every song I've listened to, even the simplest back in Revo's doujin work days, always had feeling. It's like I knew there was a story behind every song, even without words, and that just fascinated me so much. There is no such thing as 'filler' in the SH world.

8.How many SH CDs do you have?(computer files count)
I physically own- Both Elysion albums and Roman, also ashamed of myself I haven't bought Moira yet. T_T

Including files- everything, including Revo's solo work and individual one off songs. Oh, except for the fact i need to re-get Pico Magic and Pico Magic Reloaded.

9.Your favorite SH CD is?
I'm really terrible at picking favorites, with anything, but I think I'm going to have to go with Elysion. When I got the CD I was so impressed with how cleverly worked out the two sides (E and A) were, right down to the jacket and CD case. Its theme was just so unique as well, leaning more toward the old atmosphere of Thanatos and Lost than their more recent history/ethnic based albums.

As for non SH Revo work, Leviathan! Leviathan! It's so under-rated and has some of the most beautiful songs.

I'm going to skip on this one. It's way too broad and I'll end up writing a 5 paragraph essay if I were to answer it. XD

The first SH songs I heard were all Aramary. Kuro no Yogensho , Fuebuki Otoko to Parade, Ark, etc. I have an affinity to higher female vocalists in general. Her voice is very... different, and as others have said, her flexibility and range are just astounding. Take into consideration she sings as well as voices EVERY female character (aside from Shimotsuki's) from Thanatos through Elysion, and even some of the younger boys. The rest being left to Revo and Jimang. The current SH lineup relies heavily on seiyuu now, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but takes out a lot of the charm the older works had.

13.Aside from Aramary, which singer do you wish to see SH collaborate with?(you can choose from current members)
RIKKI COME BACK x2 My favorite individual SH vocalist. ; ; As for outside collaborations.... people often compare Sound Horizon to Asriel's doujin work. Actually, that's how I first found out about Asriel.... so I'd be interested to see what would come of a collab between Revo and KOKOMI/Kurose K.

Depressed? Even though I tend to get the melody in my head often, Gin-iro no Basha. O-o 'Never cries, Never moves, Baby is under the snow. Never smiles, Never grows, Sad song of fate.'

Sango no Shiro. I love the etheral underwater feeling. It's fun to sing too. Actually, Kioku no Minasoko, Umi no Majou... any underwater-ish song really.

A huge black leather grimoire with metal accents, made up of smaller 'books' or chapters, I guess. I need to read up more on Chronicle 2nd, it's still the album I understand the least of.

Probably Chronicle 2nd, it seems to have a wide variety of traditional 'fantasy' locales. I'd be too worried about dying in any of the other worlds...

What amazes me the most to this day is Revo's sheer modesty with SH. Anyone else would have let the fame go to their head by now, yet you can tell during the lives he's still as shy as ever. I was so amused when the fangirls started up during the intermission in Moira and he tried to tell them to stop as nicely as he could. I think the reason he wears the sunglasses and has started wearing costumes is just to give himself more confidence on stage and with his fans. >>' It's with that sheer selfless attitude that you can really tell he started out as just a normal every-guy selling his music at comiket. I have confidence that no matter how 'popular' Sound Horizon gets, they won't ever sell out or get ruined by the mainstream like many other good bands.

36.To analyze the stories in SH, do you think research is needed? Please explain.
To analyze them, yes, very yes. To enjoy them? Not at all. You can infer quite a bit just from listening, which is what I did initially. Unraveling the details and making all the neat little connections is just the icing on the cake, I think. ^^

37.Then have you ever tried to organize a timeline or hints scattered throughout the album?
I'm a slightly neurotic person...so doing that would probably literally kill me. I usually just look at what others have found out and put it all to memory from there.

38.Do you wish for SH to do a CD for an anime or some other form of art?
They've already done songs for 2 different games, and Revo alone has done the Atelier Iris single as well as the Gunslinger Girl image album. Heck, Jimang's doing the ending for Umineko! I'll be happy with whatever they put out, regardless of what it's from.

39.Have you ever thought about turning SH stories into a manga/anime/game/novel?
A game would be kind of hard...and we aleady have the Roman manga. An anime would be nice though, maybe some short OVAs for each of the story albums?

Oh, I've tried, I'ved tried. As others half confessed though, it's just really hard to get people into it. Mainly because if they don't know any Japanese you have to sit there and explain to them what's going on or what it's about constantly.

I would sell half my soul to see a Sound Horizon Live. I also want Revo to know that citizens of Sound Horizon Kingdom exist in other countries, and that we are just as passionate in our love for SH. Do you think he knows? Does he read foreign fanmail? Hmmm.

45.What is your biggest complaint concerning SH?
That they'll probably never be able to justify having a Live in America, or anything other country that isn't Japan or China for that matter. >>'

First time? "Eeh, it's kind of weak", admittedly. But once I started really listening(And with better quality!) I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it's now one of my favorite bands.

Hmm. I can't really describe that; I guess the closest thing I can say is that the music 'agrees' with me; I enjoy it, I like the tones, the instruments, the vocals, they all come together wonderfully. Also, I'm a sucker for those violin and accordion parts.

Yes, of course. It’s hard to understand the stories just by listen to them because I don’t know Japenese much. I have to search a lot in the internet to find English translation. Understanding the lyrics makes me go into the mood of the story more than just music only.

I will certainly, but their next album, because I just started recently, and almost everything is solved.

I commend her for her hard work all by her lonesome most of the time, and her voice acting is very good. But as others have said, her LIVE was disapointing, and I think some of the earlier songs might have had more flavour to them if more vocalists had pitched in...

Goodness, Yes! I was lost(no pun intended,LOL) with the doujin albums for the longest time, not to mention my confusuion in the later albums. Seeing new theories and inturpretations is constantly changing my outlook on things.

Definitely! I gave my piano teacher 2 CD's I burned every piano version of a SanHora song I had onto, and practically forced a friend of mine, who thinks a little to high of his story writing skills, to cower in the presence of Moira's awsomeness.

Ughh...Concert...please...

Probably the lack of different male vocalists.

Some of the stage play in the Moira LIVE got on my nerves, but that's because I'm a bit of a control freak.
I think that the Hetaera should have been pulling Misia away in "Dorei Ichiba", while a soilder had Elef over his shoulder. It would have been a bit less...symetrical?
I also think a body double would have been good in "Shiseru Otome", so while Sophia was singing they could switch out Kurubayashi with someone else, and Elef would have a body to sing his duet with, instead of a piece of cloth.

It might have been more awkward, but , Hey, not as much as Utsunomiya dying on top of that seiyyu was!

Also, I was a rather disapointed in Kuribayashi's performance. Although her voice and singing were fine, her acting seemed really shallow compared to Revo doing his puddle impersonation. Heck, she almost looked happy to be dead! I guess my impression of Misia is a little different then what I saw on stage.

But everything was beautiful anyways, so I have no right to whine...

I'm game to whatever Revo decides is good, although I'd much prefer if he keeps the creative power over the end result.

I'd say Moira would be a 24/25 episodes anime long with Meiou as it's opening song. The ending could be Kami no Hikari. The main character would be the twins or the Harmonias, since they are the one who sings the songs in SH. For the game, I think it would be an awesome RPG with Elef as the main chara, lol.

I used to be really afraid of her. I mean, what is up with those teeth? I love her now, after I’ve watched Elysion, but I still have to admit that there’s something off and quirky about her, which makes me like her more, actually. I think her acting might not be the best but it fits the conventions of Sound Horizon perfectly. And her voice pitch and range? Awesome. Amazing. She’s a really talented singer and voice actor.

Well, I think it's crucial to have knowledge about the previous albums that were released, but other than that, I don't think any "outside" research is required.

Honestly, no, because I know I'd just confuse myself.

Once again, no. They're songs are all connected to each other, so it just doesn't seem right having them release only one song to use for an anime OP or something.

I lent my friend my Moira CD. It's still with her and I'm praying it comes back spotless. I'd recommend it only to certain people, since I know it's kind of hard to get into, especially as an English-speaker.

Hrm…I used to be a Gaiafag, and someone on there was into SH roleplaying. The only thing I thought of it was, “Wait, this is a band? And they want to rp these specific characters? From a band? How does this work?”
Then, a few months later, I was browsing on YouTube and Eru no Rakuen [side:E] showed up under the Related Videos. I remembered the name Sound Horizon and clicked on the video out of curiosity, and the rest is history.

Hrm…Aramary. I have strange opinions about her. Her voice acting is fantastic, of course. She has an incredible range in that department. In terms of singing, I really can’t stand anything pre-Elysion sung by her. Her vocals are nice for a song or two, but…after a while, I get easily burned out.

All these good questions. I think that SH’s “horizon” is really every individual’s perception of their lives and other events in the world. No matter how definite an event is, people are going to have different interpretations of it and opinions. SH’s horizons seek to convey those people’s feelings and ideas. And this came out a lot worse than it did in my head.

I liked how she portrayed the characters in Elysion.

19.Which is your favorite SH storyLINE?

Elysion. Many believed it's the best of all 6 stories so far, I do too. The death-filled theme creates a perfect irony with the title "Paradise Fantasy Suite".

20.Which male character do you like best in SH? Please explain.

Hiver Laurant. His mysterious background and complicated development throughout Roman were really interesting.

Although I should say Marchen von Fredhof is my favorite too, but I guess I don't know too much about him yet.

21.Which female character do you like best in SH? please explain.

Hortense. Her existence throughout Roman was extremely fascinating, and gothic lolita ftw.

22.Which pair of lovers do you like best in SH? Please explain.

...hard to pick a pair that actually has a good end...

Roman. The cover is just too deep to be described in words.

They define themselves as the Fantasy Band, and we knew that their songs are story songs, so sure, go with their "Fantasy Story Band".

26.What do you think about the series of tragic love stories in Elysion?

Ark, Baroque, and Yield portrayed "Forbidden Love", while Sacrifice and Stardust portrayed "Sinful Love". It's hard to find works that actually explore these themes now, and not to mention achieving the states these 5 songs are at. The tragic stories really do imprint something in the hearts of the listeners.

27.Did you ever imagine what Abyss could've looked like, aside from his appearance on the cover?

No...the cover pretty much got everything for me

28.Ever tried using the magic spell in Please!Picomari to call out picomajin?(laughs)

It's too embarassing even for me...

29.Which CD cover do you think fits the content best?

Thanatos. The mysterious dark theme in the cover gives a really enigmatic feeling, which the songs do convey as well.

30.How do you think 'horizon' relates to SH?

The horizons are the stories, or the world. Sound - Horizon, the sound spreading all over the horizon, meaning music is what makes up the worlds.

31What do you think the Black Chronicle from Chroni2nd looked like?

Death Note (lol)

32.If you can choose, which world of SH's would you like to live in?

...Come to think of it they all seem pretty bizzare...

But I'll say Roman. The life and death theme got me pretty good, and the setting seems the most realistic in this one.

A poet like Ballad. (lol)

35.How do you think of SH's progress from doujin to being picked up by King Records?

The sudden style shift from Elysion to Roman was pretty shocking to me, and I thought SH has reached its downfall when I first began to listen to the later stories. However it's pretty clear to me that SH is still as epic as ever. King Records gave Revo a stronger incentive to further expand SH, I believe. Generally, I find SH fine in the hands of King Records.

36.To analyze the stories in SH, do you think research is needed? Please explain.

The stories are pretty straight-forward themselves. But to get to the DEEPER meanings, one has to do research, yes. Who would've figured that Elise in Ido e Itaru mori e Itaru Ido has some origins in Psychology (lol)

37.Then have you ever tried to organize a timeline or hints scattered throughout the album?

Tried in Elysion, but didn't work well...

38.Do you wish for SH to do a CD for an anime or some other form of art?

Roman, Elysion, and Moira should definitely be made into anime!

39.Have you ever thought about turning SH stories into a manga/anime/game/novel?

Roman's already got its own Manga...anime? As suggested in previous question...game should be interesting, but what kind? Galgame? Fighting Game? (lol)...Novel should be pretty good too

Have tried, and will try more in future

-Singing the anthem first thing in the morning

-Drawing some characters

-Changing the lyric and making the songs into something completely different (lol)

Get an autograph from Revo himself!!!

45.What is your biggest complaint concerning SH?

The events are hosted exclusively in Japan. Why can't they come to Canada or China or something...sigh

47.If other singers/composers join SH, would you mind? If not, what kind would you prefer?

I'd love to see more Revo x Other Artists in the future. I have no one in mind right now, but I think I'll be fine with whomever Emperor Revo chooses, his instrumentation and selections of singers never let me down.
