No.1271

Sorry for the pointless question! Is there any confirmation of a new album? It's been a long while since they make one!

>> No.1272

>>1271
A new single has been announced for release towards the middle part of this year.

>> No.1273

And a related album to follow that sometime in autumn.

About time, Revo!

>> No.1274

Incidentally, does anyone know what the title translates to? It says "Ido e itaru mori e itaru ido", which broke my limited knowledge of Japanese. (ido is in katakana)

>> No.1275

maybe ido means "id"...?

>> No.1276

Well... Revo made a post on his blog about the "confusing title"... in which he appears to be making fun of everyone trying to translate it. Apologies if I read it wrong and that's not the case, but that's what I got out of it.

>> No.1277

Directly translated: "Id that leads to the forest which leads to id"

Revo blog translation:
No...motivation...and...no...energy...so...don't feel like...working...

"I don't understand this."
I received lots of comments like that. It's okay! That's completely normal!

I intentionally gave this a title that you wouldn't comprehend until you understand the essence of the work itself. Actually, I'd be scared if you said "Right, I can see where you're going with this." (smiles)
If you remember the keyword of this maxi single, and listen to the album with that in mind, I think you'll understand the true meaning of it.

By the way...what are you calling this?

To people who only read the hiragana, it might be 'heru heru'.
To people who read the katakana, it'll come out as 'ido ido'.
To the Chinese Laurants out there, you'll probably take it as '至森至'.

I wouldn't mind if you nickname it, be it 'Idoru', 'Itaru' or 'Morihei'. It's your new friend, please get along nicely. d(ゝc_,・*)

Eventually, the most catchy and popular one will become 'official'. It might be 'I-rudo'(Yield)? Ah, I already wrote a song like that. Guess it won't work then.(smiles)

and defade-san, where can i find the TE translation?
i've searched around.. but can't find the 2nd and 3rd day... did i miss something?
thanks, and sorry i forgot to mention my name in the previous post.

>> No.1279

>>1278

I haven't done the TE translations for Revo's b-day event, and I don't think anyone's done it yet...unfortunately I'm a bit busy now, so I don't think I can do it now.

>> No.1280

oh sorry!
if that's the case then it's okay.
you must do your priority first.
i'm not in a rush. ^^v

>> No.1281

Well, the 1st day of the B-day event has been translated, right? I think they're working on the 2nd too.

>> No.1282

>>1278
There are also only two days of the TE concert.

>> No.1283

A bit of new info on the single that comes out on 6/16 - the setting is in a dark German forest which leads from the middle ages to the modern times - or sometime close to it. The single will be a prologue to the story CD that follows it(hence the title Prologue Maxi).

>> No.1297

I'm not sure what to think about this new single... Miku? Really? And in the first video, Revo seems a little visual Kei.. I'm not diggin' it.
